Small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in Region A are invited to showcase their products at Sarafina Park in Diepsloot. Thinavhuyo Ralutemba, Manager at the Tlhabologo Opportunity Centre, says two more market days will be hosted at Sarafina Park, and SMMEs are warmly invited to showcase their products.
The first market day was held on Friday, 2 August 2024, and it was a great success.
“This is an opportunity for SMMEs to gain access to customers and the market, which can be one of the biggest challenges for SMMEs,” says Ralutemba.
“This platform allows SMMEs to showcase their products and build a sustainable business community,” she adds.
The remaining market days will take place on Friday, 30 August, and the last one on Friday, 4 October. The exhibitions are open to SMMEs from various industries, including beauty, food, clothing, accessories, and more.
The event aims to foster networking and exposure opportunities for local businesses. Additionally, it provides residents with the chance to discover and support local businesses, contributing to the growth of the local economy.
“Participating in these exhibitions can also offer SMMEs valuable exposure and the chance to receive feedback directly from customers, helping them refine their products and services. This market experience is fantastic for small businesses looking to scale up and reach a wider audience. It will go a long way in building a customer base and establishing a presence in the local market,” says Ralutemba.
