The City’s 7th Annual Heritage Dress-Up & Cook-Off Contest was a big success, with prizes galore. The event was hosted at the Brixton Multipurpose Centre and brought together employees from across departments and entities to celebrate and embrace their heritage. In the popular cook-off category, the joint first position went to Group Corporate and Shared Services, represented by Kelebogile Seaga, Basani Ngobeni and Khathutshelo Leshiba.
The other team was from Finance in the City Manager’s Office, represented by Yvonne Ramaboca, Myrtle Makuleke, Lerato Mokomane, Refiloe Hlapane and Phindi Mannde. Third position went to the defending champions from Public Safety in Licensing, represented by Estrelita Esau, Ouma Diseko, Sonia Jenga, Keneiloe Mokoena and Hape Modise.
