Lehae Library hosted a special School Holiday Programme on 10 December 2024. Christmas Cheer Edition, bringing joy and excitement to young community members.​

The event began with a magical storytelling session featuring stories from “The Big Book of Christmas Stories” by Miles Kelly. The children listened attentively as the enchanting tales filled the room with holiday spirit and sparked their imaginations.

After the storytelling, the children participated in a fun craft session where they designed and decorated their own Christmas trees. The colourful creations added a festive touch to the library, and the activity brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Mduduzi Theko, aged 10, shared his excitement: “I enjoyed making my Christmas tree. It was fun, and I learned how to be creative.”

The programme was a success, spreading Christmas cheer and creating unforgettable memories for the young participants. Lehae Library continues to play a vital role in fostering creativity and bringing the community together.
