The 2025 Johannesburg Cap Classique, Champagne & Bubbly Festival concluded by reaffirming its status as one of the city’s most anticipated lifestyle events. Held at the picturesque Inanda Polo Club, the festival delivered an effervescent celebration of Joburg’s vibrant spirit.
The event buzzed with energy as attendees, adhering to a “Sophisticated Floral Chic” dress code, transformed the venue into a blooming spectacle of style. The Best Dressed Competition added further flair, with winners receiving coveted prizes.
Tasting booths were a hive of activity, showcasing South Africa’s celebrated Cap Classique producers, including Graham Beck, Boschendal, and The House of BNG, highlighting the nation’s rising global standing in fine sparkling wine.
Live music, featuring saxophonist Lobela’s smooth grooves and ShenFM’s vibrant DJ set, elevated the festive mood. Festivalgoers also indulged in gourmet bites from local favourites like Taco Burger and Sumting Fresh, perfectly complementing the diverse bubbly selection.
Darielle Robertson, founder of the festival, says the Johannesburg Cap Classique, Champagne & Bubbly Festival reflects Joburg’s vibrant cultural scene and the city’s passion for bringing people together through food, wine, music, and style.
“We’re proud that the festival provides a valuable platform for brands to connect directly with the public, offering them meaningful exposure and the opportunity to be seen, tasted, and celebrated.”
As the last glasses clinked, it was clear: Joburg truly knows how to celebrate, and it does so with unparalleled sparkle.
