Members of the media are invited to join MMC for Public Safety Cllr David Tembe as he visits all Fire Stations in District 1. District 1 comprises of fire stations in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Lonehill, Midrand and Ivory Park.

During the oversight visit, MMC Tembe will inspect all emergency vehicles and fire station buildings, check state of readiness for emergency, meet and greet staff to understand their challenges, etc. One on One interviews will be granted to members of the media. Date: Monday, 09 May 2022 Departure from Martindale: 07h00 Venue: First Stop will be Cosmo City Fire Station Transport will be provided to Members of the Media who wish to join us. Pick up will be at JMPD Headquarters, Martindale.
