It is with profound sadness that we mourn the untimely passing of esteemed industry colleague and associate Jermaine Craig. He was a dedicated professional who played a pivotal role in the City’s recent collaborative efforts to revive tourism and events. Jermaine’s sudden departure is not only a tremendous loss to our organisation, but also a tragic blow to the industry he served with passion and commitment. His unwavering dedication and innovative spirit significantly contributed to the success of our recent strategic events aimed at revitalising the tourism and events sector in the City.
As a partner of the Joburg Tourism Company (JTC), Jermaine played a crucial role in shaping and executing initiatives to bring about change in the industry.
His vision, creativity and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark.
His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working with him.
Thandubuhle Mgudlwa, the JTC’s CEO, expressed his condolences, stating: “We are devastated by the news of Jermaine’s passing. His leadership and contributions to our collaborative efforts were invaluable. His absence leaves a void that will be challenging to fill. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jermaine’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
