The City of Joburg Property Company (JPC) is pleased to announce the official appointment of
Mr. Musawakhe (Musah) Makhunga as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 1
September 2025. His tenure is for a period of five (5) years fixed term.

Mr. Makhunga has served as Acting CEO and successfully guided the organisation through a
period of transition. During this time, he demonstrated exemplary leadership, vision, and
unwavering commitment to JPC’s mission of promoting sustainable property development and
management in the City of Johannesburg.
